Something most people don’t know about me is how much I love trying new beauty products. Yes, and I keep it very simple and as natural as possible. I try to avoid most harsh chemicals and things tested on animals, but this doesn’t mean I have fully embraced my eye puffiness, first thing in the morning and during the day.

Recently, I’ve been looking for eye creams, eye serums that help target my persistent dark eye circles and I confess that this mission is a bit difficult. There are lots of brands on the market promising to help with it, but the reality for those suffering with this problem can be very frustrating, and in some cases very depressing depending on the persons situation.

Why do under eye bags happen in the first place?

The cause for under eye swelling can vary in many ways and it can be really tiring to get to the bottom of the problem.

This mayoclinic article says that it is common as you’re getting older and the tissues around your eyes weaken, including some of the muscles holding your eyelids tightening together. “Fat that helps support the eyes can then move into the lower eyelids, causing them to appear puffy. Fluid may also accumulate below your eyes.”

Peoples sensitiveness when it comes to their skin

I don’t want to go deeper into the underlying cause of eyelid puffiness too much here as it may go over my head, the main reason for this post is to share something that is truly helping me feel a little better with myself when I look at my face in the mirror.

I always try to be very transparent when I am talking about a topic like this one as I know people can be very sensitive, when it relates to their eyes and aesthetic, so the product I will mention below, I am using it for the first time and I am not getting paid for advertise it, so this is my honest opinion.

So, I’ve been using Fortifeye under eye pads for week and here is what I think about it.

My partner recently gave me the Pix! Skintreats Fotifeye under eye Patches with Acacia Collagen and Peptides, on the package it says that it will help fortify and smooth skin around the eyes.

At first, I said to my partner that it would be one more product that she was wasting her money on trying to help me, as I’ve already tried and invested in a lot of creams that promise the same thing and nothing happened. So, she reinforced that she read online reviews and did some research about the brand and I should give it a chance.

Fortifeye under eye pads details

The product came in such a cute box, beige, golden, green type colours and inside a very pretty green pot containing 30 pairs/60 total of eye patches, also a spatula to carefully remove them, so then you don’t use your hands to avoid putting some bacterias inside the container from your fingers.

The patches are very wet and you really need to open it carefully as to not let the liquid drop out.

They feel like jelly, can be very slippery on the hands and their shape will cover the under eye area as it show online, it fits differently for different people I believe it is more related to face shape and how you sit it under your eye.

I’ve been using Fortifeye under eye patches for week and yes, I can say that this is the first product that has been working for me in such a short time. I have tried an infinite number of brands and none of them put my anxiety at peace like this one does. I am not here saying that the Fortifeye eye patches solved my eyelids issues, NO, it hasn’t but I definitely see a more bright under eye area, more soft skin and long lasting hydration.

Nothing is more worse than having saggy eyes and tired face that feels like you haven’t slept for 5 days in a row. So if you are looking for a quick solution, until you find the real cause for your under eye bags this brand is worth trying.

Sensitive skin, do not worry girls

I have very sensitive skin and when it comes to my under eye area I am all about concerns and very careful with what I am putting on my face, on the first and second day that I used the wet patches I got some red spots around my cheeks, but I decided to not stop using it to see if it would get worse or improve, on my third day of use the skin calmed down and was getting softer.

The information you can find online is that the Fortifeye under eye patches are generally considered suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin, it is formulated to be gentle, paraben-free, and often described as soothing and hydrating.

I know that you are expecting a before and after photo, but I haven’t taken them yet, I will do this when completing two continuous weeks of using them, then I will make a new post about it or post it on my instagram. Anything can change until then and I will make sure to update my readers, for now I hope you appreciate this post.

Then, my honest opinion is that you should definitively try Fortifeye under eye pads.

See you soon..
